How Tesavia works
-
Test
A few drops of blood from your fingertip, at home, in two minutes. The kit travels by mail to an accredited lab in Germany.
-
Understand
Your results in plain language. No tables to decode yourself — what is fine, what is missing, what does not matter.
-
Act
A recommendation that only includes what the scientific evidence supports. If nothing is missing, we recommend nothing.
-
Verify
A second test after three months. So you know whether it worked — instead of hoping it did.
What we measure at launch
Tap a value for details. More values are in preparation.
Vitamins Vitamin D
The value that runs low in most people in central Europe over winter.
- Worth measuring with
- Winter months, little time outdoors, tiredness without a clear reason.
- Target range (rough orientation, lab-dependent)
- approx. 30–50 ng/ml
- And then?
- If low: supplement deliberately and re-test after three months. If high: stop supplementing.
Minerals Ferritin
Your iron stores. A common cause of tiredness, often overlooked.
- Worth measuring with
- Persistent tiredness, little meat in your diet, heavy periods, lots of endurance sport.
- Target range (rough orientation, lab-dependent)
- context-dependent, e.g. by sex — your report puts it in context
- And then?
- If low: adjust iron intake and re-test. If high: no self-supplementing — have it assessed medically.
Vitamins Vitamin B12
Relevant with a plant-based diet and from your mid-40s.
- Worth measuring with
- Vegetarian or vegan diets, from your mid-40s, trouble concentrating.
- Target range (rough orientation, lab-dependent)
- approx. 300–600 pmol/l (total B12)
- And then?
- If low: supplement and re-test. If high: usually harmless and supplement-driven — review your intake.
Fatty acids Omega-3 index
The fatty-acid ratio in your cell membranes.
- Worth measuring with
- Little oily fish on your plate, plant-based diets, a focus on long-term prevention.
- Target range (rough orientation, lab-dependent)
- approx. 8–11%
- And then?
- If low: add omega-3 deliberately (plant-based options exist) and re-test the index.
- In preparation
HbA1c
Your long-term blood sugar.
- In preparation
ApoB / lipids
The lipid profile behind the cholesterol number.
- In preparation
TSH / fT4
The thyroid baseline values.
- In preparation
Testosterone
The central value of the men’s panel.
- In preparation
Men’s hormone panel
Several values, one picture.
We only add new values once dried-blood measurement and the evidence support them.
More values will follow. We only measure what can lead to an action.
What your results look like
An example with fictitious values: every value is interpreted, not just listed. Tap a value for the explanation.
Vitamin D 21 ng/ml 38 ng/ml Our recommendation back then: A vitamin D supplement, dosed to your value — and the re-test after three months.
The value that runs low in most people in central Europe over winter.
Ferritin 18 µg/l 44 µg/l Our recommendation back then: An iron supplement, plus the re-test to see whether your stores recover.
Your iron stores. A common cause of tiredness, often overlooked.
Vitamin B12 (gesamt) 380 pmol/l 390 pmol/l Our recommendation back then: None. The value was fine — if nothing is missing, we recommend nothing.
Relevant with a plant-based diet and from your mid-40s.
Omega-3-Index 4,6 % 7,9 % Our recommendation back then: An omega-3 supplement, dosed to your index — and the follow-up test.
The fatty-acid ratio in your cell membranes.
The second test shows what changed — and what did not. B12 was fine from the start: nothing to recommend there.

The loop is the product
Measure first. Then take only what is actually missing. Then measure again.
Why Tesavia exists
Most people take supplements without knowing whether they need any. And very few of those who measure a value ever measure it a second time.
Tesavia turns that around. Measure first. Then take only what is actually missing. Then measure again. The loop is the product — not the single test and not the single supplement.
We work with an accredited lab in Germany, recommend only what the evidence supports, and sell you nothing your results do not justify.
Which value fits you?
Four quick questions. Your answers stay in your browser — only your result joins the waitlist with you, if you want it to.

Frequently asked questions
Does the test hurt?
You prick your fingertip with a small lancet — a brief prick, comparable to a blood sugar test. A few drops are enough.
How does it work?
The kit arrives by mail, you place a few drops of blood on the sample card and send it in the enclosed envelope to an accredited lab in Germany. Your results arrive digitally, in plain language.
What happens to my data?
Your data stays with us and the lab — no sharing, no tracking, no cookies on this site. We delete your waitlist entry any time on a short email.
What if my values are fine?
Then we recommend nothing. A recommendation only includes what the evidence supports — if nothing is missing, there is nothing to buy either.
What does it cost?
Prices are not final yet. Join the waitlist — we will get in touch at launch with all details.
When do you launch?
We launch in Germany as soon as the lab partnership is in place. The waitlist hears it first.
Is a dried blood test as accurate as a draw at the doctor’s?
For the values we offer, the dried blood spot method is established and validated — which is why we only measure values this method reliably supports. Values where it does not, we deliberately leave out.
Does the sample survive the mail?
Yes — that is exactly what dried blood is made for. The dried sample is stable for several days under normal shipping conditions, and the kit includes a return envelope made for it.
Can I cancel an order?
Yes, the statutory right of withdrawal applies. Details — such as when a kit is excluded for hygiene reasons — will be in the terms at launch.
Will my health insurance pay?
No. Tesavia is a self-pay service and does not replace medical diagnostics. If your results show notable values, we recommend having them assessed by a doctor.
